INTRONFORGE is a personal project site. This policy describes, plainly, what happens to data when you visit it.

What is collected

Nothing you do not provide. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no newsletter here.
Comments, if you leave one, store the name, email address and content you submit.
Standard server records. The host (WordPress.com / Automattic) keeps routine access logs such as IP address, browser type and timestamps, used for security and abuse prevention.

WordPress.com sets cookies for logged-in users, for comment authors, and for basic site statistics.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still read normally.

WordPress.com / Automattic provides hosting and statistics.
Embedded media, if any, is served by the service hosting it and is governed by that service’s own policy.

This site’s tools connect to Google only to read book data on the account owner’s own behalf, through Google’s Books API.

What is accessed: book metadata such as titles, authors, publishers and ISBNs, and the bookshelf data returned for the signed-in Google Account.
How it is used: to display and search that information for the account owner. Nothing else.
Where it is stored: on the owner’s own computer and private storage. Google user data is not transmitted to, or held on, any server operated by this website.
Who it is shared with: nobody. Google user data is never sold, rented, transferred or disclosed to third parties.
What it is not used for: advertising, profiling, credit or lending eligibility decisions, or training machine learning models.

This use complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, after which the app can no longer access it and any locally stored copy can be deleted.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
